  1. It's wonderful the State of Florida builds Kiosks to mark De Soto's footsteps along his State Historical Trail, but if Calderon's Company really wants to do something to save Hernando and a National Memorial's own Heritage in Bradenton then please help us convince the Florida Museum of History and the State Archaeologist of Florida Dr. Mary Glowacki that this same history needs to be on publicly display no matter what or where it is found. To pretend history never happened at the same time you keep on commemorating it did makes no historical sense at all. The opening up of a permanent exhibit honoring 500 years of Florida History at the MFH in Tallahassee and the efforts of hundreds of people just like myself to do whatever it takes especially when it matters the most to save our historical resources makes it high noon for Florida to finally, officially and publicly let a National Memorial in Bradenton welcome home and honor even the very reason for their own existence even if it's a single isolated find or the establishment of an entire national historic trail to go along with the Kiosks and State Historical Trail near you. Thanks Timothy.
